Cant Update my device to 4.2.2

Ok guys, I have a galaxy grand which is on 4.1.2 and the update for 4.2.2 has been officially been released for like a 6 weeks and I still haven't got it yet , I check daily but it keeps telling me that I am on the latest update .I also tried on kies but my device couldn't connect to it for some reason .

Any suggestions guy

OK. Do you know your region code? It may be in your model number under your phone's battery or on the box.

I dont have the box with me at this moment but the phone as I recall was imported from dubai and I am currently using it in Pakistan

I got the XX region , so I searched online .As I recall Galaxy gramd wasnt offered in these regions

XX*Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom

It should be a 3 character code. Reason I am wondering is there are stock ROMs available but the correct region must be used.

The only other way I know is to connect to Kies. Have you tried to update Kies?
