Can't update Pixel 2 XL to pie

[Android Central Question]

My Pixel 2 XL has received the Pie update but when I go to install it comes up with the error message 'installation problem' and then pops up a few mins later inviting me to install Pie... I've tried connecting my phone to the charger, restarting, downloading over WiFi and 4G but nothing works. I have plenty of memory left so it can't be that.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas?

Sign out of Google Reboot while you Clear cache partition. Sign back into Google. Open Settings, Software Updates and try again.
