Can't upload new ringtones on my Bionic

For some reason, I can't see the existing ringtones on my doid phone from my computer. I want to transfer new ringtones in but I don't know where to place them so I can see them on my Bionic.

You dont have to put them in the existing folder. Just make a new folder on the root of your internal storage called media. then you can make two sub folders called ringtones, and notifications. Place your sound files in those accordingly. The phone should find them for ya.

You should already have the media folder, I don't know if mp3 files work (please let me know if they do), but I did find out that if you create an AAC version which is ".m4a" (can be converted using itunes) that is a supported file for ringtones and notification sounds.

Same for me too. All of my ringtone and notification sounds are MP3's

If you use mp3's, you don't have to have them @ 320kbps. The phone's speaker handles 128 at best. Plus lighter weight files for notifications seem to be handled more quickly by the device.
