Had to do a factory reset of my pixel 8pro last week when it was stuck in reboot loop and overheating. Wasn't able to use a recent back up and had to go back to a back from my pixel 6.
Ever since setting the phone back up I'm unable to view Instagram videos in app or open links directly in Instagram. It always takes me to the chrome browser.
Having a similar issue with Facebook, I can't view videos in app anymore and I'm taken directly to Facebook.
Looked through settings and can't see what I would need to change to be able to watch Facebook and Instagram videos in app again. I don't have this issue with YouTube which allows me to watch videos in WhatsApp still.
