I love my HTC One, except one little thing - the two capacitive buttons next to the logo. I wish there would be another way to determine their behavior than rooting the phone. Sometimes during the day, the buttons are illuminated and sometimes they are not. I have researched around the web quite a lot, to find out that it is dependent on the proximity senson of the phone. I understand that concept, but I would like the option to illuminate them whenever I wish.
I found an app in Google Play, but it requires root and I am not willing to go through that process.
Anyone have another suggestion or do I have to start saving for a Nexus which has these buttons as icons on the screen?
