Greetings,
I'm testing an appliaction that makes https/ssl calls, I'm testing for both Andoid and iphone. I used Charles Proxy where I set up a proxy, for the IPhone I was able to capture https/ssl calls from the iphone application but for Android (using Galaxy S II - Not Rooted) I was not able to capture the traffic.
I tried to capture calls from the phone browser and it worked on the iphone and Android so I'm not sure why I'm not able to capture the traffic from Android. The advantage for Charles Proxy is that I can install the certificate on the phone and be able to view SSL calls
I also tried Squid Proxy, Wireshark and Kismet to monitor my wifi and look for the calls to the specified URL but no success, any suggesstions?
I apologies upfront if I opened this topic in the wrong forum
