Does anyone have any recommendations for a good decent cell phone holder for in the car for the note9? Which is better: magnet kind, vent kind or ones you sit on the dash? Thanks in advance.

Lol no problem. Other poster link took me to the Ebay app. I went on web version and got link. Who knows lol. Oh nice. I usually use slickwraps clear matte on back of my phones. I got a clear and black Ringke fusion x case that is supposed to come by friday.

if I do get a case itll probably be the same pelican one I have on my s8+ with a bracketron windshield bracket and one of the metal plates stuck to the back of the case. holds pretty good, the bracket lasted about a year of hard abuse in my switcher truck but bracketron replaced it the first time and they said they will replace it again so I cant complain.

Are you looking for a charging mount or just a mount? There are plenty of dash mount or windshield mounted suction cup mounts on the market, but even for those I would recommend getting a very long charge cord and mounting the phone mount wherever you want it.

I have a pro clip mount and use the iOttie easy one touch 4 on it. Been using the iOttie for years and they work fantastic.

I like using Proclip Usa mounts. I see they don't have one listed for Note 9 yet, but they will. I'm sure my adjustable one for the Note 8 will work on the 9. Depending on your vehicle, they've got several mounting options. I use the A pillar mount, to the left of the steering wheel, so it's easy to see, but not mounted to the windshield. That way I still get to easily use a sunshade.

No fast charging though, so I am looking to get one that has that to replace it probably soon. The pictures were correct orientation but when I uploaded here they changed. Sorry, not sure why.

I don't recommend the magnet kind for the Note. Reason is because the spen issues with magnets and dead spots. IMO if you have room and don't use GPS or radar detector or dash cam then I would go with the windshield mount. Like my kiosk for example I sell the heck out of the windshield mounts. They seem to be the most popular around here.

Down here in FL I wouldn't want to block the vent due to the summer heat.

I personally don't use any mounts. I'm worried if I get whacked in a crash my device will go flying and get damaged and I use a radar detector.

"Screws into the dash..." Yes, that's if the taxpayer is footing the bill for the vehicle. The mount is excellent and holds the device (my Note8) securely. Just need to be aware of where the phone's side-buttons/switches are.
