Actually, this is a car charger question for use on a motorcycle Powerlet socket.

I'm in need of a car charger that has two quick charge USB ports for a Galaxy S9+ and other things. I need the Galaxy to quick charge so I can get it off the USB adapter and use the port for something else.

My Powerlet socket is fused at 10A and running at 12V it produces 120W of power, plenty for something like this. I use this adapter to go from Powerlet to cigarette socket. From there, I would need this charger that I'm looking for.

Is there a USB charger to cigarette port that is confirmed to be able to provide quick charging on both ports?

I'm also powering GoPro cameras, battery banks, headset units, etc.

For some reason, I thought the S9 was on QC 2.0? Is this not correct?

I currently use this: https://forums.androidcentral.com/e....aspx%3FItem%3DN82E16875893018&token=hx5MiHyj

The problem is that it works sometimes and if I charge two devices at the same time, I lose QC and it crawls to charge stuff.

That's why I made this post. There might be something I don't know.

Power output on both seems to be the same (4.8A@5V), but the one you posted claims 39W while mine says 24W.

I don't really know a lot about electricity. I bought mine years ago thinking that I'd have two ports that were QC compatible, but this was never the case. I was wondering if this was common.

I'm assuming that if I connect a device without QC, it will just charge at the normal crawling speed, right?

Your link was broken (it happens sometimes due to this site glitching), but it is common for cheaper chargers to have a combined total output less than the combined total of the port ratings. I.e. Each port may give up to 2.4A, but if you run both together, you may be limited to 4A total, so 2A each.

The one I linked to will run both ports at full power at the same time. QC3.0 is also backwards compatible with QC2.0 and standard 5V charging. So your S9 will charge with the QC2.0 protocol if it's compatible with that. I had thought Samsung used their own variable voltage protocol, but I do think it's compatible with Qualcomm's Quick Charge.
