Can we charge our sgs2 in the car by plugging it into usb port?

Or only with a car charger? Should charger be "OEM" by Samsung?

I have a microusb port in my bluetooth kit in the car . Just bought a cable and it works a treat.

same here. I have usb thing that plugs in the cigarette lighter but... when im using the GPS on the phone, the phone doesnt' charge fast enough and its actually still loosing battery charge even tho the phone is plugged in while using GPS. I believe its the plug. I've heard some others say that and they recommend to buy an official Samsung car charger because they work better.
