Whats that grey backplate made of?

You can check out my build thread at mp3car.com (here)

Did you connect power?

www.padholdr.com have Xoom versions available now. I have photos at the end of the build thread.

It is made from aluminum. I use the standard desk dock mounted in from the back. Has power in and audio out to the radio. The dock mounts in the empty din above the radio.

That looks great. I assume you have some manufacturing abilities. How much for one of those? I can do the integration.

That's some really great work you've done. It looks like you put some serious work into it. Just be safe behind the wheel now!

I created an account just to answer you. I just did this to hook up my EVO to my in dash unit. You can get a cable that will convert HDMI to RCA online here http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-RCA-VGA-Cable-1-8ft/dp/B002ZUI68G/ref=pd_sxp_f_pt but I don't know if it will work or not by itself, see below.

Yeah I just thought about that, I have a box that it also plus into that my buddy got. I think it converts the signal... Let me ask how he did it.

Just sent him a text, the cable he put in converts the cable from micro HDMI to RCA (that he got off line), then that plus into a conversion box. This our what happens when you don't do the stuff yourself! Said the box will run about 50 bucks.
