Car mount that moves the phone out from the dash?

I am tired of having to reach all the way to my dash to reach my phone. Is there any kind of mount that has an arm or some other type of apparatus to move the arm close to the driver?

There are mounts that mount to the hump (or where the hump would be if the car had a driveshaft tunnel). And they have various heads, at least one of which should fit your phone.

But a suction cup mount on a plastic dash with such a large moment of force (length X mass) would probably pull the suction cup off the dash with even a small phone. (The laws of physics can't be violated. Air pressure at sea level is under 15 lbs/sq. ft.)

There are several mounts that extend from the dash in various amounts, but you also have to worry about stability and a potential whip crack affect. Even if the mount holds to the dash fine, the weight of the phone on bumpy roads will make it want to bounce a lot and potentially fall off the holder, if not break the holder itself.
