Car mount

Has anyone used a car mount for their Shift that works well? I've seen a few different universal mounts and wonder if that's my only option. I would prefer a suction cup windshield mount over vent clip, and want to be sure it doesn't cover up any important parts (USB port, headphone port, volume controls). Also it would be nice in landscape orientation, but not really necessary.
