car USB charging

So I want to use Android auto but when I plug it in to the cars USB port it i receive a message saying the charge is to low. I assume it's not the cable and just the port it self. Is there a way to mirror it to the car with while plugged in a regular car charger?

Unfortunately, nope. Unless you have an Android Auto unit that supports WiFi/BT Connection, you must have the USB port plugged in. The low charge MIGHT be your cable or your USB-Port mode on your phone, not just the port.

You could try an USB-Hub (one that supports power delivery) to connect both a charger and the USB cable to the port on your car unit, but not sure that's gonna work
