Is it me? I have a car that has a USB port and the instructions say that a Media Player or iPhone can plug in for music to play. I haven't been able to get the music on my Nexus 4 to play when hooked up to the cars' USB ! Why? Help!

Android phones aren't either media players or iPhones. About all you can use that port for is charging the phone.

I did find out from another forum that a USB can loaded with mp3's can be plugged into the car USB port, (Which I ried and it worked), also found this mini bluetooth receiver that can be plugged into any IN port of car or radio for wireless music from phone to car radio and if the phone rings the music shuts off. There is a battery and USB jack so receiver can run all day.

You can also use this device for Lollipop SMARTLOCK!
