Hi - first post so apologies if this has been covered elsewhere

I was just wondering if there was a definitive answer on whether the S7 was capable of playing music through car stereo with a USB connection? I've used the search facility to try and find other threads and seen posts that say no, but also some that say yes. Is there a definitive answer?

Also, I've had the S7 for about 6 weeks now and am finding that it is constantly draining the battery - a full charge only lasts just over half a day with moderate use. I've used Android for years other than my last phone (iPhone 6) and am fairly savvy, I've played about and adjusted all of the settings that you'd usually expect to have an impact but it hasn't made any difference

To play music through the car stereo you need Adam aux cable or bluetooth.

When you connect the phone to the USB port, you'll need to change the setting from charge to MTP. it also depends on what head unit is in your car. Does the head unit support MTP?

Thanks - I presume it does as it picked up and played music from the iPhone without any problems? It's a Nissan Juke. I've tried changing the setting to MTP but it hasn't made any difference, I wasn't sure if there were any other settings I'd need to change? Thanks for the replies

Android has not been able to connect to a car usb probably since ICA or KK. I remember on my note 2/3, I had to purchase a specific cable and car dock from amazon, ibolt dock and drive, and it did what you wanted. But that doesn't work anymore, I tried on my S7. Still have the mount, super nice.
