Here is the direct Play Store Link: https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...S5rb3VzaGlrZHV0dGEuYmFja3VwIl0&token=9XUSmH0i.

If the link does not work, search "clockworkmod + carbon"

I'm on a Mac, got the desktop app, got the app on my phone. I open app on phone, says to plug into computer, I open app on computer.. when I plug into computer "Android file Transfer Utility" opens but the carbon app never gets past "Waiting for the Carbon Desktop application to enable application backup on your Android..."

Koush says that it should just work OOTB on a Mac.. is the AFTU interfering with it??

EDIT: I deleted the AFTU and restarted both app on Mac and on phone. Now the app on my Mac says that it's been enabled but the same message above is still on my phone with a Cancel option.. how long should this take?

EDIT2: It works.. the update Koush pushed out fixed it.

so far, carbon is awesome. had no problem installing it on my evo lte or macbook. i have run into 2 problems so far (well 1 of them is an actual problem, the other not so much).
1) for some strange reason swiftkey 3 (got it as the amazon free app of the day) does not backup. whenever carbon attempts to back it up, swiftkey just crashes
2) when i used my file explorer app to check out the backup files, each app backup has a folder that is named with a bunch of numbers. does anyone know what those numbers mean?

I have had success backing my apps up to Box without any problems. The only problem I have had so far is with the auto sync feature. I tried syncing my app data from AB Star Wars and Free Flow from my Nexus 7 to my Rezound and it work great. I then tried it with Temple Run 2 and noticed it will not sync the app data, so I am guessing syncing is hit or miss. Anybody else run into this issue? I plan on contacting Koush to see if there is a fix.

I've ran this on an HTC One X+, an S3, a Nexus 7, a Thinkpad tablet and an ASUS Transformer TF300t.

I can restore data between the X+, S3, Thinkpad and N7 fine, but each time I try and restore data to my ASUS, it hangs during the restore. I was really looking forward to giving away my Thinkpad once I restored my data to my ASUS but it's proving difficult.. Anyone experience this also?

EDIT: So i left my ASUS doing the "Restore" process for a very long time, like 4 hours.. it finally said it restored my data but the data never did restore. Odd that it restored my data to my Nexus 7 just not the TF300t.. le sigh.

It totally works on my Nexus. Weird problems arise on my sis' Xperia though. First it's unable to enable PTP mode though it miraculously did later on. Then it keeps failing to backup because "a desktop password is set" (or something like that) though there isn't a password. I double-checked by using adb backup and the command returns after a second, creating a 0KB backup file. Really weird.

quick edit: seems like a known issue. dam.
