AC Question

Hello there,

Toady I bought the Homido VR glasses. I downloaded the needed Homido Center, opened it, and tried some rollercoaster apps and some demos - none of which worked. One said my phone didn't have a gyro. The startup screen works, but then it shows a lot of vertical lines. When I tap Configure it says I need the Cardboard app for it to work.
So I went to Google Play Store to get it...
And there it just says that my device isn't compatible with this version!!

Is my new phone the problem? I have a Huawei Y360-U61, Android version 4.4.2. Maybe an older version of the app will work?

I was really looking forwards to the amazing possibilities of virtual reality, but now I'm afraid I'd have to get a new and expensive phone first... can you help me out?

Thanks in advance for your time!

Welcome to Android Central! The specs here only mention an accelerometer, so the phone probably doesn't have the hardware to use Cardboard, which is why the Play Store doesn't show it as compatible.

You can run an app like CPU-Z to see exactly what sensors the phone has.
