Carefull with some apps out there

I have installed many apps ok but then last night I installed say 5 and updated 1 and thought everything was ok again. I then rebooted my phone and got many errors and couldnt even get service, totally hosed. I remebered what ones I just got and uninstalled them and whew everything is back to normal.
So before reboot and test before you forget what you last installed.

how many apps do you have, the hero has a memory bug where you have over 70 it is too much for the phone to boot?...


Each app has a max RAM footprint, and too many apps creates too large of load for the hero to open at boot. Drop it to below 70 and it should work perfect! This is the deal for most hereo's but there are some that dont run into this bug

WOW I just counted and have 68 so I probably did hit over 70 and then removed some.
good to know.
As far as what apps I dont want to say cause I really dont know if they where a problem.

alltogether they have a max ram that those have allocated and the hero cant load all them up at once, so you get boot loop. A guy over on xda contacted htc about that and their working for a fix on the bug
