Carhome Ultra and Car Mode

I've had my galaxy s4 from Verizon for about 3 weeks. At first it asked me what app to open when I put it in the car dock. I chose carhome ultra and it worked fine for a while. However for the last week or so it stays on the home panel which is driving me nuts. How can I get the screen where it ask me what to do when I dock it to open again. I already looked at carhome ultra and it is not the default.
