With really appealing phones with awesome price points continually coming out from Chinese companies have you felt compelled to leave Big Red or Sprint to be able to scoop one up? If you think of the costs of phones on Verizon and the inability to get a OnePlus or Honor alternative it's very tempting to move over to say T-Mobile.

Its the coverage that keeps people there. Some areas are spotty in areas where sprint and Verizon are bang on

Coverage and pricing keep me on Verizon especially on my legacy plan. It's many times cheaper than T-Mobile for my uses. Granted things might change could Verizon kick me off my legacy plan, but for now, I will stay with Verizon

Verizon also has lots of promotions for smartphones and at times i can get phones for really good deals if you are willing to deal with the hassle.

It would really vary by the location. I live in Los Angeles area and verizon, at&t, and tmobile all pretty much the same signal. i can use cricket wireless gsm unlocked phones.

According to Verizon they will ditch cdma by 2019. which means if your phone has support for thier lte bands it will work on thier network. a great example is the HTC U11. has no cdma compatibility but works on Verizon let network.

Haha. Yeah many American brands have been sold off to other countries.
What i was referring to though was traditionally Chinese phone companies like Huawei, Xiaomi,zte and the like

The problem is that most phones don't have LTE band 13. Yes the u11 does as does the moto g5 but those i beieve went through the Verizon certification process. Nextbit promised Verizon support but later didn't even include lte band 13 for unofficial usage on Verizon

I moved from ATT to T-Mobile so I can get unlocked phones as they have good TMobile network support. And it's been true with Honor 8 ad U11.

Honor 8 does not have WiFi Calling feature built in but VoLTE works just fine.

When I had Axon 7, WiFi calling worked like a charm as well.

U11 has both and works great!

The htc u11 has better specs. But it also costs over 60% more than the Honor 9, assuming $400 price tag. And it isn't anywhere near 60% better. But if you want the camera with the highest dxo benchmark score, ip67, QHD, and gg5 then i would get the u11.

I am also waiting for Oneplus 5 press release on 20th. I'll make my decision after!

Same here..... I work in Manhattan, so coverage there is usually not an issue, but I live in suburbs and some areas can be spotty.
