Case or no case

The g6 feels so comfortable in the hand, I hate to cover it up with a case. Anyone keeping theirs naked?

Mine went in a case before ever turning it on. My experience with Gorilla Glass 5 (Note 7) is it scratches substantially easier than 3 and even 4. The reviews of pre-production models showed the same thing. If you dont mind scratches on the back glass then go for it but I prefer no scratches and the added protection against drops and cracks.

This is probably the first phone the last couple years I could see going naked. I'll probably throw a case on for work though and put a glass screen protector on it. It's really a beautiful phone that feels great. One of the best feeling phones I've used.

Exactly! GG5 is very scratch prone. I did the same thing

This phone is too good looking to hide in the case, especially the Platinum colored on I have. I may throw a tempered glass screen protector on, but that's it.

I usually go with a thin fit case for about 3 months, and then take it off. Just like I did with my jet black iPhone 7. Now the 7 has a bunch of scratches and scuffs on the back after I took the case off. The LG G6 black version will probably be a fingerprint magnet, but I read that they also put an oleophobic coating on the back of the consumer models and not the pre release models.

I would never use a phone without a case. Paid good money for it and if it gets scratched, there is no fixing it.

The screen protectors are a PERFECT fit, and the gray Tudia case is the perfect compliment to the Platinum color of the G6, and it's not bulky at all. Glad I changed my mind.

I rarely use a case, but decided to try a thin one for a while, to prevent any scratches on my black G6. Went with the Spigen Thin Fit. It adds virtually no bulk to the thing, has a matte finish for grip, and fits perfectly. I am sure that I will take it off eventually, but for now I will keep it shiny and new!

I changed my attitude over time especially when last year I dropped all three of my phones. Two was damaged and was forced to sell them. Luckily I didn't lose much.

Naked here. Phone is too beautiful to hide it in a case. I have never used a case for any phone. But then again, have to be very careful not to drop it.

I haven't ordered mine yet, but I've been looking at a Skin as a possibility. Both SlickWraps and dbrand have some that look pretty good. Black Leather on a Black G6 might be the way I go.

Well the camera glass scratches extremely easy. Gorilla Glass 5 is not impressive at all.

How's the button action on the tudia? I like the look of that one. I always look for some grip on a case. I think I had one for Nexus 6 but it was either the button action or the case was shiny and fingerprint prone and looked a little cheap.

I might try using G6 plain, but will probably put on a rear skin at least. And definitely have a case (prefer TPU) to pop on for times I might be more worried about it.

I normally don't get cases, previous phone was a leather case G4, but this platinum G6 is a little slippery, and I'm worried about micro-scratches in the back. Ended up with a thin clear case.
