I know many threads have been started about this topic...however, new cases are being pumped out all the time.

I'm looking for something slim and sleek. I would like the buttons to be exposed or fit right and be usable. Also I have an extended battery.

Any suggestions would be helpful!

I am using the Verizon Black Silicon Case and I like it. It's as lightweight as anything on the market and has a great grip. No fingerprints and when you hold it it feels substantial.

I tried the Diztronic. The cutouts were not perfect, but usable - however I felt the back was very slippery. I gave it to my father who liked the slippery back over the one I chose.

I think those two are the leading extended battery cases that offer slim and sleek and still protect the phone.

I'm pretty satisfied with the Black Verizon one. It looks good and does a good job.

There's an accessory sub-forum - but until this gets moved over there by a mod:
i have the diztronic tpu case - actually i have two - matte black and transparent smoke gloss - like the gloss better bc its easier to hold, but the matte is nice as well.

So the diztronic fits with or without the original extended battery - the slim extended samsung battery, forget the precise mah - fits tight, protects from normal fall situations as far as i can tell, and is pretty much as slim as it gets while offering what i consider fairly substantial protection. and it's only 9 dollars so.... cant really beat that.

anyway, there are lots of reviews in the accessories forum - check those out for like casemate pop, etc. and there are new cases, true, but you might have some better luck checking out amazon reviews or another forum if you dont see anything over here that you're specifically looking for.

Thanks for this feedback. I wanted someone else's opinion about the Black Verizon case. I have it too, but I haven't dropped my phone luckily and wanted to know how the case would hold up against shock asborption.
