Cases, skins, no protection

That's interesting to know. Are you just keeping your phone on 3G when you're away from Wi-Fi? I found when on the road that by putting the network to CDMA only, I avoided getting the "no network connection."

To be honest, except for this, I really love this phone. Really don't wanna jump to Samsung.

Yes, I keep my phone on CDMA when I'm not near Wi-Fi. It's slow but it beats the annoying no network connection error

I really like the idea of the slickwraps Alcantara skin, but afraid a case wouldn't fit over it when I really need a little extra protection.
Hope to have my G6 soon and see how it actually is with nothing. If not the Alcantara, then the honeycomb skin looks pretty great and shouldn't interfere with a case.
