I have a Casio C811 Commando that's battery doesn't seem to hold a charge for very long.
I charge it from 12 volts cig adapter with USB 5VDC output connected with usb cable. or the OEM AC/DC - 5VDC output adapter.
The C811 has a micro usb port for charging and connecting to a PC.
I need to keep the C811 constantly connected to a charger or it seems to loose a charge or becomes very low in less than a couple of hours.
E.g. Fully charge I placed it outdoors without charger to download some maps via wifi internet. In less that two hours it was at less than 25 percent charge and kept prompting me the battery is becoming low and to plug it into a charger.
Battery Specifications
Up to 540 minutes Usage Time
Up to 384 hours Stand by Time
I mostly have installed standard apps that came with the C811 and a few other map programs and small utilities.
I have looked at several programs to reduce unnecessary apps and processes from running in the back ground.
Perhaps I'm incorrect? I would think the phone should hold a good charge for more than a couple of hours?
Casio C811 Commando
Android version 4.1.2
Kernel version 3.4.0
Build number C811M070
Hardware version 1.1
16GB SD card installed.
The problem exists with my old battery and also a brand new battery.
I believe the old and new batteries are oem however I unable to access the new battery transaction because of web page scripting, etc. (The old one is stored away somewhere and was working, but decided to give it a new battery)
The new battery doesn't have the word Casio on it only
BTR811B 1800mAh 3.7V 6.7Wh Li-on
and can't remember if it is an unbranded OEM battery or not. In every other way it appears the same as the oem with the Word Casio printed near the top.
