Casting from PC Chroe tab...

I really love my chromecast - great for YouTube and Netflix! Also can cast from my chrome browser on my PC.
BUT - my PC is 2 rooms and 60ft away from the TV in the living room. And there doesn't seem to be a way to control the cast video after it is started - except to run back and forth from computer room to living room. And I don't want to move the computer to the living room.
I tried Unified Remote app to remotely control it via my Nexus 7 - and while it does control my Desktop, I can't see the mouse cursor on the TV screen when it's being cast to. So that makes Unified Remote app useless.
Any ideas on how to control the cast video from the Chrome browser tab without having to be at the computer to do it? And using a laptop is not an option!

Sounds like you have a Home Theater PC (HTPC) or Media Center computer that is a desktop. You are casting via the PC's Chrome Browser TAB to the Chromecast. Any remote would have to control what you are running on your HTPC in that Chrome Browser TAB but you need to see the HTPC to control it. Android's Chrome Browser doesn't have the plug in yet but that wouldn't correct your problem. You need something like GoToMyPC that their Website says supports Android tablets. Last year I ran 2X on my Nexus 7 to connect to my windows business laptop and that is a free app but I had to have my IT Dept set it up. Check this App out since our whole Computer Technology company ran on 2X.
