Received my Flip6 late on Friday, so got into the setup on Saturday morning. All went very well with one exception that I offer as a word of caution.
The SIM tray in the Flip6 appears to be much less robust than in the Flip5 or other phones. When I removed the SIM from my Flip5, I found it to be about the same thickness as the SIM tray itself. Consequently, getting the SIM to insert was problematic. Every try the tray would insert a little less than half way, then stop. After more than 10 minutes of tries, I finally got the tray to insert almost fully closed, but still not quite flush with the side bezel of the Flip6. Not wanting to force anything, I repeatedly removed the tray/SIM combination and reinserted carefully.
Finally, I actually used a fingernail to smooth the edges of the SIM and it inserted properly. Apparently, tolerances are extremely tight inside, so be very careful and patient. Don't try to force teh tray to close.
One other caution: the tray itself is extremely thin bit of plastic and will bend, possibly break, if you place too much pressure on it when inserting into the slot. Would probably not be a good thing to snap the tray in half. Be careful with this delicate little part.
