New Gumbo kernel + super tweaked lowmem settings. At boot ~75MB free with everything running.

Verizon's market picks
Verizon nav (Not sure just how to strip it, and maybe it will work if a brave soul wants to try)
busybox/rooted/SU whitelist all working and automatic


To install -

1. Nandroid backup
2. Confirm Nandroid backup
3. copy signed-Gumbo2.1Alpha to your SD card
4. Boot into recovery
5. wipe data
6. flash

Skip login wizard at first boot. After ROM loads, reboot. To return to settings wizard open gmail app

Read this thread. You'll see help from many members of A/C actively testing and helping fix bugs. A BIG THANKS to everyone here as well.

Without these people and others like them working, none of us would know enough about CDMA Android to create something like this.

thanks it was a mad house over at xda hahaha i have tried the rom that flip did but i reverted back to gumbo.. i need the camera and the mms to work..i guess i'll wait to sprint spits out there rom

Won't be getting a camera, and MMS looks doubtful. Known tricks with the apn aren't working lol.

But full screen weather when it's sunny flat out kicks ass.

SMS
WiFi
Bluetooth loads (charging an earpiece to test fully)
GPS maybe. If not I believe Flipz has that working so I'll ask him if I can't get it.
I didn't do jack and all market apps are showing, out of the box.
Access to Verizon's market
All the helicpotor Homescreen functions work.
Fully rooted, latest SU whitelist seems to be working.

Stripping out Verizon's boot animation then I'll whip up a signed zip.

Then I work out Apps2Sd and make a jit add on option.

No camera until we get a new kernel or the source.
Someone who knows more about Android and apn settings will have to fix MMS, or it will wait until I figure it out.

Nope. VVM will only work with an official Sprint build AFAIK. I have the original Verizon VVM I pulled out if anyone wants to screw around with it.

Rename it from VVMStub.apk.txt to VVWStub.apk and push it to /system/app/

fm radio- I have to figure out what file is missing along with apk file i get force close so i know somewhere in lib i need a file

but overall nice and smooth market place i was able to get all of the file even paid ones..

Not seeing that here. I just searched aFirewall and it shows in my phone. Search for Barcode Scanner. With no camera it wont work, but that's always my suggested test to check if protected apps are showing. No need to download it, just wondering if it shows up for you.
