Is there any fix for the Cell Standby using so much battery when you are using your WiFi at home. On my Note 4 didn't have this problem. I disabled all the Ant stuff.

Can you post a picture of what you mean by 'so much battery'? Do you notice a big drain or why is this bothering you?

Are you in a weak signal area? My cell standby battery usage is very low. I have not disabled any of the ANT stuff either. But if you have a weak signal, it will drop more quickly because it has to use more power to stay connected to the cell tower.

I am in a weak signal area and have been since the day I bought the OG droid. I have NEVER had a phone use this much battery keeping signal. The OP is coming from a note 4 and is noticing a huge change, my daughters S5 does not have this issue in the same house. Seriously what gives?

I'm in a weak signal area also, but I had the note 4 and note 5 and those phones never did this.

I exchanged the note 5 for this edge+ and cell standby is draining a lot of battery.

I heard that the regular s6 and s6 edge has this problem as well.

I have a brand new Samsung Note 5. I am not much familiar with android, I was using ios before. I would appreciate if I might solve the cell standby issue with your help. I charged from %15 to %100 and cell standby is %22 and nr1 drainer

Which carrier are you on? also do you have VoLTE (or HD voice, or enhanced voice) turned on? depending on the carrier these options can make a big difference on cell standby. The other option is if you know you are in a weak signal area, turning off LTE and just using 3G could help (really someone should create an app that tests the signal and changes the phone radio automatically).
