Android Central Question
So i understand that turning on certain features in the settings panel can disable certain others. But after a few weeks of making many many changes to personalize my phone, I can't for the life of me remember what I did to lose the ability to change these settings.
Currently I'm interested in restoring my ability to choose screen type between adaptive, movie screen etc, as well as using the blue light function. But it seems like this issue may very well come up again. (and again) What does it seem like a reasonable solution would be that when you clicked on a function that was greyed out, that there would be a pop-up telling you why that function wasn't available. Before you say it, yes I know that originally when I did whatever I did to lose this particular functionality, there was a pop-up telling me that by engaging this choice I was losing other options, or more to the point other options would be turned off. But as I said-- over time it's nearly impossible to remember all of these.
So if someone can help me out and tell me why I might have lost functionality to those three particular things (and I suspect it may have been the same option) but again they are 1) choosing screen type between adaptive and others, 2) using the blue light increase or reduction function and 3) using icon frames, I would appreciate if you would let me know what I've done.
In the grander scheme of things am I missing some functionality similar to what I mentioned in tapping the greyed out displays in figuring out what the interdependencies are between certain function working and them causing other functions to work or not to work as well or certain functions needing to be on for certain other functions to work.
Is there a quick and sorry way to determine the answer to these questions?
Thank you for your time,
Mark
