CF-Auto-Root and Lollipop Update

Hi,

I'm not very knowledgeable on rooting, so I wanted to check whether rooting my S5 with the CF-Auto-Root image would prevent future updates on my device, in particular the Lollipop update that Samsung is deploying. Will it still work in Kies or from the phone software updates?

The general rule of thumb is any root will block an OTA. You would have to fully unroot in order to accept it.

From an AOSP M8
