Change Carrer Name with GingerRom?

Any idea how to Change Carrer Name with GingerRom?

I have a Optimus S flashed to PagePlus but it still shows as Sprint as expected.

I was able to do it with Cyangmod by pushing a eri.xml file to /data/ but it doesn't work with GingerRom. Any suggestions?

You have to use apktool to decompile framework-res.apk and find the eri.xml inside the framwork-res and replace it with the one you have. Then recompile and push it to /system/framework/

I tired to do this and it still says Sprint even after flashing the modded apk. I did mod the eri.xml and made sure of it. Dragged the new eri.xml to the original apk and flashed it in the correct folders.

You don't have to decompile to be honest. You can explore it with a feel manager. You just have the edit Eri.XML with a hex editor.
