Change LED color.

I'm unaware if this is already out there, but anyone know a way to change the Alert LED color?

I'd like to know this as well. Green is such a generic color for devices!

handcent let you do it (for sms, anyway) on other phones, but the option was blacked out on the x. there is an app called blink that apparently will allow for led changes. give that one a shot

i found on another forum one called ChompSMS, I'll try that too, blink only works with certain colors.

For former BB users, are there any LED notification apps as comprehensive as BerryBuzz? I heard MissedCall was good, but it's in bugged right now for the Droid X.

SMSpopup took over too much of the UI for me, but other than that i liked the idea, thanks though.

Yup, I'm loving my X dude, but like i said SMSpopup was a little too flashy, ya know? I just want something that the ONLY settings are for that LED notification.

There's an app called "Blink - Flash LED In Your Own Way". It says it only works on the Droid/Milestone, but it might be worth trying on the X too. Don't shoot me if it causes issues though

I thought about this one too but he said it wasn't working on the first page (unless there are different Blink apps I dunno)

He says it doesn't work on the Hero, but yeah on second thought after reading the comments/feedback section, I would probably stay away from this app.

I only see these apps changing the LED for SMS and MMS...not for say email boxes.... (i.e. I have multiple email boxes...and I want to show different LED colors for the different email boxes...as well as SMS & MMS... Any idea's...?... Thanks, Rick

I downloaded smspop, handcent sms, K-9,maildroid. There is no default led setting built into the droid correct? In one of these apps I changed the color to a pink/purple color. cyan I think and now I can't remember how to change it back . I wanted to make email red and now my email wont go off the purple because I can't find that setting back. aghhhhh anybody help ??? K-9 doesn't appear to have led unless I can't find it. Maildroid I turned off and switch the color of the led to yellow. handcent I can't find the settting if it exists and smspop I deleted and the led is still purple. Any other ideas?

I only use K-9, so it's the only one I can comment on.

If you go into an account & hit menu, more, settings, account settings, you can change the led color for each account that you have.

I hope that helps at least a little.

Gmail notifier will change the led color by gmail account, handcent can change SMS, and talk can be green haha

wonder if someone should go over to xda and ask one of the dev's to make an app that would make the led change all colors when ringing(i know bb has one that does this) i have a friend with a bb curve and its pretty cool.
