Change lock screen volume apps?

I have the Sprint G2, and love being able to access the camera while the phone is locked using the volume down button. I am wondering if there is a way to change what holding down the volume up button does? The quick memo is worthless to me in this regard since I can't figure out how to input text using the keyboard. I'd much rather have the volume up open the stock memo app (not quick memo). Any way to make this happen?
