Change the default storage location BACK to asking you which Google Account you want to save to?

[Android Central Question]

Whenever I was adding or creating a new contact, my phone used to prompt me and ask which Google Account to save to. This was PERFECT and what I needed to organize my business vs. personal contacts.

I accidentally hit one account to be the default, and now I can't make it go back to prompting me each time.

I see form past forums how to CHANGE the default to one account to the other (Contacts --> 3 lines --> Manage Contacts --> Default Storage Location)... but HOW DO I MAKE IT GO BACK TO ASKING ME WHICH GOOGLE ACCOUNT TO SAVE TO WITH EACH NEW CONTACT??

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Go to Settings>Apps, select Contacts, then Defaults, and look for an option to clear defaults.

Depending which device but can go to settings >apps>3 dots upper right corner tap >clear app preference
