I'm still struggling to figure out how they changed the controls and if it's possible to revert back to the way things were.
In the past, if you launched a media app, like Pandora or Spotify, the Android system would show the notification for that app. The notification would contain the media controls -- play/pause, skip, etc. If you swiped this notification away, it would close the app.
This is still the case, but now I've noticed that the notification comes back after swiping. I can sit here and swipe the Pandora notification away all day long but if I open the notification drawer again, it comes back.
I know there's an option in the settings related to media controls, but I can't really discern a difference when it's on or off (edit: I believe this is the "pin media player?" I have it currently set to disabled). Can someone break it down and tell me how to undo this braindead change?
