This may have already been addressed, even though I looked and did not find anything related. But how do you change the apps on the lock/un-lock screen? I want to change the text app and phone app.

Change the sms app by making it the default.

You can also disable the stock app that takes up a particular spot on the unlock wheel. It will then replace that app with an app that functions as the replacement. For example: if you are using Handcent for your text messaging, you can disable the stock texting app and the Handcent icon will take its place on the unlock screen. This doesn't work for all third party apps, so you may have to try a few out. Also, I don't know that you can replace a particular icon with an unrelated app.

Disabling the Native sms app causes other problems like "not getting mms" pictures. It's best to pick a default app.

This is true for some third party apps. Handcent has an onboard mms feature. I used this set up for some time with no problems.
