Changing contacts from Verizon to Google

My OG Moto G has two different sets of contacts, Verizon and Google, likely due to the fact that I transferred some of them from an old Verizon feature phone using the Migrate app.

I want to make them all Google contacts so they back up to my Google account and will transfer seamlessly to my next phone. How do i do this?

You'll need to export the contacts to a .csv or .vcf file, then import them to Google. In the Contacts app, tap Menu, and look for an Import/Export option. Export your contacts, then follow these steps to import them to Google Contacts: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/1069522?hl=en
