changing handscent/factory settings

Hello, I downloaded handscent for my motorola droid. Well now everytime i get a text or email handscent goes off and the original (factory setting) goes off as well, it gets quite annoying how can I change the phone setting to recognize just the handscent and not the other.

Just go into your stock messaging app hit settings, and scroll down to notifications and uncheck the box.
