Changing motherboard on S7

Welcome.

No, you will have to restore the repaired phone from a backup. If there is no backup, your personal data on the old motherboard will be lost.

Belodion is correct, but I'd like to add that a full motherboard replacement on an S7 will probably cost more than the phone is worth, and you should probably just consider a new device.

Well, the people at the repair shop offered me used MB for 30€. Even if its gonna work for a week, its worthy to try to save the personal data.

Welcome to Android Central! As mentioned before, the data is pretty much gone. It's on the chips, and if they replace the motherboard, they're also replacing the chips (no one will try to remove soldered chips and resolder them on a new motherboard). If your phone is dead, you really need that data, and you didn't back it up or sync it beforehand, then your only option will be to find a data recovery specialist (which can cost hundreds of dollars, maybe even >$1000).

If it works out and can get your data start thinking to back up multiple ways so u dont go through this again
