Changing Samsung Notes Background Color

Is there a way to change the background color of a note in Samsung Notes?

SO irritating. I thought, OF COURSE. When I went through all the settings, I found I can only add grid lines.

I have notes with different colors. But that was quick notes from S NOTES. RIP S NOTES we miss you sooooooooo much.

Samsung Note has gotten even worse—notes can't be longer than one page. I'd love to go back to S-Notes, but I've exported my many notes to Samsung Notes. Is there a way to move them back to S Notes, preferably without root? Or is there a way to get back the ability to add pages in Samsung Note?
