Hi... Since we all know the Tbolt eats batteries like corn flakes have any of you come up with a way to swap batteries without messing up the little slot? They sure don't make the battery cover easy to get off.

The TB has the slot at the top center for pulling off the back in order to get to the battery. You're right, it doesn't work well and makes it tough to pry off the back. What works for me is this, I hold the phone with the screen palmed in my left hand (I'm right handed) and then I slip a fingernail into the middle of the curve at the top right, when that edge comes up (which is does fairly easily for me) I then just gently pry off the back from that point. It comes off a ton easier than trying to use the slot provided.

Remember, YMMV, my back might be a tad looser than yours but you might want to give it a try because I find that I can get the back off easily this way and there is not a mark on the back from doing it.

Well, I'm gonna tell you my technique, even though I know you are female, and it requires sturdy and maybe not so long nails. :)

First, I lay the phone face down on a flat hard surface (not your lap or your leg!).

Next, I place the heel of my hand at the bottom of the door pressing down toward the table to keep the phone held flat to the table.

Then, using my fingernail under the opening on top, I pull upward until there is a little space to put another fingernail in to the crack on top (all the while keeping the phone held firmly flat with the heel of my hand) and pull up. It comes "right off"! No problem.

That sounds like it would work better than what I've been doing using a butter knife. I don't want to chew up the little slot. I'll tty your way next time, thanks!

I swap my battery every day with my spare. It's not as much of a pain as it used to be, it has gotten easier with shear repetition.

After I take off the Seideo TRIPLE layer protective case, I place my thumb on the HTC letters and push down, while at the same time pry the top slot with my index fingernail.

I have had no visible damage to either fingernail or cover.
