changing the default lock screen?

Is there a way to change the layout of the stock lock screen? I'd like to not have the dock icons at the bottom

you want different icons on your lock screen?

Settings > Security > Lock Option Screen > Shortcuts. Click on the area next to the toggle switch. From there you can change the dock apps on the lock screen

There are programs to change the lock screen. I believe GO makes one that's free and there's Widget Locker as well.
