I have an S10 Plus and I'm using a 10w charge pad. I noticed when I put my phone on the pad at 70% battery it says 1h 19m to full, but when I plug the cord into the phone to charge it, it says 29m till full. I didn't know a wireless charge pad was that slow! Are there other pads that are faster? Like just as fast as the cord?

There may be faster pads, but their design makes them inherently slower than cable charging, and with more heat generated.

Also check to see if your setting for wireless charging for fast charging is enabled.

Thanks all, I'll stick with cord.

There are fast charging pads. I have one, although I use it for overnight charging so I turn off the fast wireless charging option on the phone. Only turn it on when I need it.

i have a fast wireless charger, but even that is not as fast as a fast cord charger.

The wireless charger is cool for convenience (have it next to my work computer), but i prefer using the cord in the evenings

It takes stress off the plug in the phone oh.

I think if you had jumper cables and could throw a charge on it in 5 minutes.
Most folks wouldn't be happy.

Who cares if wireless charging charges slower. I was all the time laying the phone down and forgetting to plug it in. discovered wireless charging, place the pad where I was always laying the phone and never had a dead phone when needed again.

I don't care if the charging pad is slower, since it's more convenient. I just plop the phone onto the charging pad and don't have to plug it in.

Yeah its mainly to reduce wear on the usb port. But its also convenient, just lay it down an your good to go.
