Was wondering if there is a car charger / fm transmitter that will output music from the droid through the car speakers so I can use pandora while driving. If so suggestions as to which one to buy. TIA!

I wouldn't recommend any FM transmitter. Sound quality is always atrocious with them if you can find an open station (if you're in a major metro area). I'd seriously suggest looking into adding aux in to your stereo if you don't have it.

I did, at one point, have a cheap Scosche FM transmitter that worked very well but it was discontinued years ago. Price and brand really don't mean anything with those things.

Ive always found that when I use the AUX in on my stereo in my truck, with my Droid, that I only get sound out of passenger side speakers. :(

I've been using the USA-SPEC PA-15 on my factory head unit. So far it does a nice job of handling sound through the newly added AUX in but it doesn't do charging.

The PA-15 is mostly Apple centric - so it won't charge the Droid nor let you control it through your head unit like you can with the iP*'s. I have found it works just fine to hook in a standard car charger.

I was thinking that perhaps I might have been better off with a BlueTooth based solution.

Oh well - to my knowledge (and would love to learn otherwise) the PA-15 is your best bet if your car lacks the ability to pair via BlueTooth or has a built in AUX jack.
