Charger Question

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere, but I didn't see it in any of the threads I perused.

I had a Droid 2 and we also have a Droid X, which we shared chargers on so that we could have one at home and one for travel. I see the charger that came with my Razr Maxx is different from those chargers, so does that mean I cannot use the other Droid chargers on it? Or will those chargers do any damage to the Maxx? I know they're all microUSB so they'll all fit one charger, but just because you can do something doesn't mean it's a good idea.

I think any charger with micro usb will work, but my pc will only recognize my maxx when I use the cable that came with the phone. weird.
