I usually don't even take the original out of the box. The Pixel 4 is no exception.

As above; I use a Samsung fast charger I've had for a few years; always leave the OEM charger and cable in the box, unused.

I'm using it connected to an Anker wireless charger too and zero issues and great charging times TBH

My OEM charger gets used the least. I use vanilla wireless charging stands at home, Pixel stand at work, and if I need faster charging, I use the cable I have connected to a RAVPower PD charger normally tasked with charging laptops. I've done this in the past with my Pixel 2 and 3. Now the 4. I have not experienced any problems.
