So I just read the instructions and learned something. Who knew those things could be helpful...LOL
I didn't realize that the cradle also charges and can be used as a stand alone charger without the cord. Does anyone have any idea how much it will charge? In other words, will it charge it from from 0 to 100% or maybe just a little?

The battery in the cradle should be good enough for 1 full charge. It holds 350mA whereas the Gear has a 300mA battery in it.

Maybe my cradle wasn't charged fully. Good to know. I haven't looked at the battery size. Thanks and sorry for the wrong info

I'm curious also. I'm gonna kill my watch and plug in the cradle to see how much it charges. I'll report back later.

The light on the cradle should turn blue when full. I still don't know how long it takes when plugged up to either one though.

From my smokin' hot Note 4

So, it took about an hour and charged my completely dead watch to 61%. Not bad.

Ditto! About an hour here too, but only 50%. That may be why Pool Shark 2 mentioned they are experimenting with a 600mAh battery cradle backup, to see what is needed to get a full 100% charge out of it.

Yep - 50% here as well - a bit weak imo. I'd prefer they ditch the battery - ala Gear 2.

Ok so I'm not crazy. Only 50%

Battery was at 30%. Cradle stopped charging at around 76%.

You can also charge the Gear S (dock needed) using the Power Sharing Cable EP-SG900UWESTA if you have one of the following:

Galaxy S 5, Galaxy Tab S 10.5, Galaxy Tab S 8.4, Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy Avant, Galaxy Note 4
