charging issue?

Hi I'm still on 4.4.4.
Phones been off charge for 2 days 3 hours SOT and battery was showing 18% plugged it into the wall charger (one that came with the phone) it said 'charged ' straight away?
Took the cable out, rebooted, it was still showing 100%
an hour later it's showing 99%
How the hell did it fully charge in less than a second?
I'm guessing it will turn off later will this reset the stats?
or should I leave it on the charger?
Any ideas?

That is very strange. Maybe try booting into recovery and clearing the cache.

The only other thing I can recommend is using the phone until it dies, then charging it to %100

Partition wipe did nothing. Its acting as if it was just fully charged. I'll wait for it to crash and burn then try and charge it again. If that fails it's going back.

Fully charged after 5 hours with 2 hours sot! I think it's broken lol!
