I seem to have the same issue every time my battery runs all the way down and I have to recharge it. Keep in mind that this is my second Nexus and what I'm about to discuss happened on both. Had to take the first one back bc it never turned back on, even with trying all of the tricks discussed here.
When the battery gets low, under 10%, it will shut down. Sometime at 7% sometimes at 2%, etc. I don't have an issue with that, but when I then go to charge it I have strange issues. I'll let it charge for hours and then try to use it and it'll barely be charged and the battery use indicator shows that it had been unplugged for the entire time it was plugged in. For example I just had it plugged in for 5 hours, and I unplugged it and it says it's been unplugged for 22 hours and is at 15% battery.
I'm using a good plug and the stock charger. I charge my phone on the charger in the same spot every night with no issue.
Any suggestions?
