Probably an issue with the car charger. Not wired right..

My One decided to not charge at all, unless I turn it off. And not even then it's charging correctly.

After extensive emailing with a HTC rep, I was told to contact the tech center to arrange for it to be sent in.

I'm going to wait for the 4.4 update to see if it fixes this issue. I have the unlocked version, so it shouldn't be too long.

Did you buy an after market car charger? If it's not specifically for the ONE, and or at least a 1 amp, then it will not charge properly. What I did to avoid all the will or will nots, is bought me an inverter, and plugged it in to the 12 volt side of the car, and just used my Samsung AC charger in my car.

Use a HTC C200 or HTC C300 car charger.

C200: One USB socket, output 1A.
C300: Two USB sockets, each output 1A.
